There are things which may or may not be important to you that PTE can do which are difficult or impossible to do with even the best of Adobe's products such as AfterEffects - It's an extremely powerful software not only for simple presentation slideshows, but for incredible animation capabilities.Īs an example, I created a demonstration of a rotating, zooming isocahedron (20 sided construct) with three thousand six hundred and twenty independent video screens simultaneously playing about 100 different videos - all done in PicturesToExe.
There are things which one can do with PTE which simply can't be done with ANY video editor. I absolutely can not agree with the previous suggestion to use a video editor for presentation slideshows, nor can the people who do professional audio visual presentations and slideshow competitions worldwide where PicturesToExe reigns supreme and is used by the vast majority of competitors. Since you can see the waveforms for multiple tracks simultaneously, you can easily adjust to have one or any number playing simultaneously and at any point in your show. You have volume, offset, start time, fade in time, fade out time, crossfades, duration as well as link to slide. All tracks are visible simultaneously with their independent waveforms and keyframes for changing volume, etc. It is not an audio editor but that's not something you will find in any presentation slideshow product.
PTE (PicturesToExe) allows as many audio tracks as you want and has complete waveform precision for where your audio begins, ends and volume up or down.
